But one man could do things with a football that beggers belief. It pains no kills me to type his name but that man was MATT LETISSIER.

im going for the here and now, so i think the best player there is now is C.Ronaldo he had an amazing season last season and i think he can only get better as the years go on..

Have to agree with Wildcatspup, Messi is a far better player than Ronaldo, primarily because hes a team player, Ronaldo is just too selfish and wants all the glory himself whereas Messi will play in a team mate if he thinks its the better option.

As for Le Tiss, Ray, whilst I agree he was a good player, for me he bottled it by not taking the move to a big club on the numerous chances he had. Had he made a move to Chelsea or Liverpool I think he could have been a serious contender but he seemed to prefer to be the big fish in the small pond.

As for best player ever, far too subjective for me, Pele, Maradona, best, Eusebio, Matthews, Dalglish, the real Ronaldo, Messi. Theres lots of players who have a warranted shout but the game is/was different at the times each played so it would be unfair to compare, lets just hope football keeps producing the great talents so we can enjoy it for ever more.
